Hyogo-Kobe Investment Promotion Seminar in Lille, France, for European Companies

Hyogo-Kobe Investment Support Center, together with the Representative Office of Hyogo Prefecture in Paris, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, and the CCI International Hauts-de-France held an investment promotion seminar for European companies on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in Lille, France.
The features and strengths of Hyogo Prefecture were introduced at the seminar, including its comfortable living environment and high standard of living, as well as the excellent investment environment for companies.
In advance of the seminar, the CCI International Hauts-de-France contacted companies interested in Japan, and the seminar was attended by roughly 30 companies from various industries, including food, consulting and marketing, IT and digital, and biotechnology. The questionnaires they filled out at the seminar showed their interest in the strengths of Hyogo.
In 2013, Hyogo Prefecture and the Nord Department, which oversees the region Lille is located in, signed a joint statement of their support for cultural exchanges between the two regions. Since then, exchanges between the two regions have been happening in various areas, such as the economy, education, arts and culture, and tourism. Going forward, the Hyogo-Kobe Investment Support Center will cooperate with the Representative Office of Hyogo Prefecture in Paris to support companies from the region investing in Hyogo, Japan.
