"First stage promotion for European companies" held in Lille, France

On Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, the Center, together with the Hyogo Prefecture Paris Office, the French Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Commerce, held a "First Stage Promotion for European Companies" in Lille, France.
The promotion introduced the "strengths of Hyogo Prefecture," such as the prefecture's characteristics, ease of living, and high quality of life, as well as the excellent investment environment for expanding into the prefecture.
In preparation for the event, the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Commerce approached companies interested in Japan, and approximately 30 companies from fields such as food, consulting and marketing, IT and digital, and biotechnology participated. A questionnaire given on the day showed interest in "Hyogo Prefecture's strengths."
Hyogo Prefecture and Nord Department, where Lille is located, signed a joint statement in 2013 as friendly exchange regions, and have continued to exchange in various fields, including economy, education, art and culture, and tourism. Going forward, the prefecture will work with its Paris office to support the expansion of companies from the region.
