The Hyogo-Kobe Investment Support Center will be utilizing the subsidy from the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Organizations' (NPPO) Small and Medium Enterprise Regional Resource Utilization Promotion Project to exhibit at the "Monozukuri Fair 2023," which will bring together the latest technologies related to next-generation manufacturing and serve as a matching venue.
During the exhibition period, we will also be hosting a seminar entitled "Towards Diversified Business Development in the Field of New Energy Sources Such as Hydrogen" with Mr. Akiteru Maruta (Technova Co., Ltd.) as the lecturer.
In addition, we will promote the business environment of Hyogo Prefecture and Kobe City to visiting business representatives, and aim to match them with manufacturing companies in the prefecture that possess excellent technology, and we will provide consultation to companies that wish to locate in Hyogo Prefecture or seek business opportunities in the prefecture.

Theme: Business development utilizing hydrogen energy
Content: Amid the global trend toward decarbonization, expectations are rising for new energy sources, especially hydrogen. Japan is making a national effort to realize hydrogen energy, and Hyogo Prefecture in particular is home to many hydrogen-related companies, and industry, government, and academia are collaborating to promote hydrogen utilization, while many national demonstration projects are also being carried out. Based on these examples, this program will introduce the outlook for hydrogen utilization in Hyogo Prefecture, the Kansai region, and Japan as a whole.
Lecturer: Senior Chief Researcher, Research Department, Technova Co., Ltd.
Since 1991, he has worked at a private consulting firm, implementing projects related to new materials, storage batteries, fuel cells, EVs and FCVs. Since 2003, he has been at Technova Co., Ltd., where he is primarily responsible for research and international collaboration in the hydrogen and fuel cell fields. He also supports international collaboration in the hydrogen field through the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (IPHE) and the Second Mission Innovation. He is also a board member of the International Committee for Hydrogen Safety (HySafe) and a reviewer for the IEA's Global Hydrogen Review 2021. He is certified as a high-pressure gas production safety manager.
